Empire Shoes founded in the year 1965, was the brainchild of Badruddin Ajani. Its first show room selling premium quality shoes for ladies and gentlemen was established at Colaba in Mumbai. It soon became one of the most esteemed names in the shoe and leather industry.The legacy was continued by his son Sadruddin Ajani, who expanded Empire to several stores all over Mumbai in areas such as Warden Road, Dadar and Andheri.
